Cure your Moleskin Addiction: Mod Notebooks

Notebooks for the Cloud

All the professional creatives I know have one addiction in common (besides caffeine). I’m speaking, of course, about Moleskin Notebooks.

When you’ve filled out your moleskin, it most inevitably collects dust in a bookshelf or closet. What if, instead of on your bookshelf, it could be in the cloud, accessible anywhere at anytime?

Well that’s what the sharp minds at Think/Need thought of, and came up with the solution in the form of Mod Notebooks.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You get the really cool looking and durable notebooks from the website
  2. Once you’ve filled it out, you ship it to them with the included envelope hidden in the back of the notebook.
  3. They digitize the whole thing within 5 days for you.
  4. You can access this digitized version anywhere on any device with their free app that also backs everything up to DropBox, Evernote, and OneNote!
  5. Oh, and they can recycle your physical notebook or send it back to you. your choice!

While I haven’t bought one yet, my first impression is that it’s a really useful idea that helps visual learners easily organize their volumes of ideas. However the $30 price tag seems a bit steep to me for a notebook (Moleskins are about half the price). What are your thoughts?
